Director of Consulting & Events, Fenway Sports Managment
Kate Hogan brings twelve years’ experience to her role as Director of Consulting & Events with Fenway Sports Management, a global sports marketing firm that specializes in partnership sales, consulting, and the creation of unique and memorable events and experiences. In this capacity, Hogan is responsible for leading a team of sports marketing specialists in advising FSM’s elite roster of client brands on how to best leverage sports and entertainment partnerships to realize their business goals.

Hogan leads a team that is responsible for overseeing FSM’s consulting engagements with a number of leading consumer brands and financial service companies including Dunkin’ Donuts, Santander Bank and Boston-based start-up Beantown Bedding. She works closely with each client’s internal marketing team to develop strategies and customized sponsorship programs that deliver against brand objectives. Hogan and her team are charged with identifying potential partners and procuring the optimal mix of sponsorships that help brands reach and engage target audiences. As part of this process, she and her team evaluate opportunities, provide recommendations, create integrated activation programs and lead negotiations with prospective teams, leagues and/or athletes.

Under Hogan’s guidance, Dunkin’ Donuts successfully completed negotiations for the naming rights for Dunkin’ Donuts Park, a minor league baseball stadium in Hartford, Connecticut; the first corporate sponsorship with the National Women’s Hockey League, an exclusive partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL) which, included the designation as the Official coffee & breakfast of the NHL; as well as a number of athlete endorsement deals with some of the biggest stars in U.S. sports including New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski; Red Sox Slugger David Ortiz; New York Giants standouts Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr, American Ice Hockey Forward Meghan Duggan, Boston Bruins  Center David Backes & New York Rangers Defenseman Ryan McDonagh.

Hogan works with her clients to create impactful marketing campaigns and activations by harnessing the marketing power of the sports teams/athletes to heighten brand awareness and build brand affinity. Most notably, Hogan worked with Dunkin’ Donuts on the “Sippin” and “Dunkin’ Paradise” ad campaign with Rob Gronkowski and David Ortiz as well as the “Runnin’ on a Cold Brew” video with Odell Beckham, Jr which garnered Dunkin’ 3.5 million hits on YouTube.

Hogan began her career at Fenway Sports Management as Special Assistant to Boston Red Sox President Sam Kennedy and former FSG EVP of Sales Billy Hogan (currently Chief Commercial Officer for Liverpool FC). Prior to FSM, she worked at NBC Sports at Rockefeller Center as Executive Assistant to Dick Ebersol, Chairman of NBC Universal Sports & Olympics for three years affording her the opportunity to work at the Olympics in Torino, Beijing and Vancouver. For her work at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Hogan earned a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Event Turnaround for the Beijing Opening Ceremony.

Originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Hogan graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005.
Benjamin Percia, 2016
VP of Platform Development, Fenway Sports Managment
Ben Percia leverages more than twelve years of experience in the sports marketing industry to provide strategic insight into sales integration strategies and best practices across multiple platforms and channels for Fenway Sports Management (FSM) properties and clients, including the Boston Red Sox, Liverpool Football Club, LeBron James, and NESN.

As Vice President of Platform Development, Percia is responsible for aggregating and developing assets and concepts across all of the FSM properties in an effort to position marketing platforms in a positive manner for sales. Percia and his group are tasked with creating and managing traditional sponsorship and digital marketing platforms to maximize business opportunties for FSM clients and properties. He leads a team responsible for developing assets and concepts that drive revenue generation, as well as managing partner activation and retention.

Percia also manages the analysis and tracking of industry trends to understand opportunities in the marketplace. He works closely with FSM leadership to devise optimal cross-platform opportunities for prospective partnerships that suppot FSM brands and properties. Additionally, he directs the production of all FSM sales and marketing materials and platform updates.

Percia and his team are also responsible for the management of all non-baseball events at Fenway park from a sponsorship sales and activation standpoint.

Percia previously served as director of FSM's innovative consumer sports ventures, where he oversaw the marketing, sales, and execution of MLB destinations, Red Sox Fantasy Camp, and the Youth Baseball Summer Camp program. He began his career at the Boston Red Sox in 2003, where he served as a ticket sales associate.

Percia received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in 2003.
       
   
Chuck Steedman, 2015
Chief Operating Officer, AEG
Charles H. Steedman serves as Chief Operating Officer, AEG Facilities. In this capacity, the well-respected industry veteran oversees the fiscal planning and day-today operations for AEG Facilities which currently owns, operates or provides consulting services for an elite network of over 100 venues operating across five continents, including 21 of the industry’s top 100 arenas while assisting with the strategic growth of the division through the acquisition of arenas, stadiums, convention centers along with other investment opportunities.

Steedman’s responsibilities also include focusing on the continued
implementation of AEG proprietary initiatives such as AEG 1EARTH, AEG Encore, AEG 1FORCE, AEG S.A.F.E., AEG 1SOURCE, AEG Energy Services and AEG Community throughout the AEG Facilities venue network. Additionally, in this role and on behalf of the division’s collection of world class facilities, he will also work closely with AEG Global Partnerships who oversee naming rights, sponsorships and premium seating for many of the venues as well as AEG Live, who promote numerous national concert tours and family shows that book AEG Facilities affiliated venues.

Having joined AEG in 2008 as Sr. Vice President and General Manager of AEG Connecticut LLC, Steedman went on to lead the organization’s expansion into South America including the development and implementation of management agreements with four stadia in Brazil in addition to overseeing all business, legal and structural aspects of the creation of AEG’s Brazilian subsidiaries.

During his tenure, he also has been involved in the creation of events for AEG, most notably forming a joint venture with USA Gymnastics that resulted in the creation of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, which toured the United States for 40 dates following the 2012 Olympics in London,setting ticket sales records in almost every market.

Prior to joining AEG, Steedman spent the previous seven-plus years under the employ of New England Sports Ventures, the parent company of the Boston Red Sox, New England Sports Network and Fenway Sports Group. Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions Raycom Sports, the American Skiing Company and the Resorts Sports Network.

A native of East Brookfield, Massachusetts, Steedman graduated from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and added an MBA from the McColl School of Business at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1994.
